September ’10 – Week 3 – Saturday Dinner/Entree (to be served with Garlic White Bean Mash.)
Ribs are one of those ubiquitous American foods that instill in us the warm familiarities of backyard barbecues and summer spent with friends. To cater to the little people in the family, this recipe is both boneless, and not too spicy. Though it takes a long while to cook, they come together really quickly beforehand, so there’s no reason to miss anything fun going on!
Ingredients:
3 T Cajun Seasoning, (add salt if using salt-free)
1 t Onion Powder
1 t Garlic Powder
1/4 C Brown Sugar
Favorite BBQ Sauce
2 lbs Boneless Country-Style Ribs
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°.
Combine first four ingredients to make a dry rub. Rub it all over the ribs before placing in a shallow roasting pan. Sprinkle any additional rub on top, and cover with foil.
Bake for 90 minutes before removing foil and brushing with BBQ sauce. Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or broil for 5.
